Leah is a partner and a member of our Business Law Team. She regularly advises her clients on all aspects of their business. In addition to offering general business advice, she has considerable experience with financing matters, representing both the borrower and the lender. In particular, over the past 15 years, Leah has become known in Nova Scotia and throughout Atlantic Canada as the leader in the independent pharmacy acquisition space. She has acted for both purchasers and vendors on dozens of transactions from the transition of a single-store pharmacy to matters involving multiple locations and complex financing structures. She has worked with owners of stores under all independent banners. This hands-on experience has taught Leah that being organized, an excellent communicator and rallying a team of competent professionals both internally and externally are key to ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated transaction with minimal interruption to the flow of retail operations and staff morale. Leah knows what has to be done to transition a pharmacy and gets it done well.
What makes Leah an exceptional lawyer is she understands from her own experience that your business is the way you support your family and represents your time away from them. Her goal is always to reduce your stress through incomparable service and practical advice so you can focus on growing your profitable business and enjoying your life.
