Tom is Counsel and practices in the areas of Commercial Real Estate Development, Business Law, and Bankruptcy & Insolvency. Practicing law for over 40 years, Tom was a Founding Partner of Boyne, Crocker & Jones when the firm began in 1972 and during that period has served the firm in numerous capacities such as Managing Partner and as a member and chair of various committees including the firm's Articling Committee.
Active in the affairs of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, Tom has sat on Bar Council and committees of the Bar Society, acted as a Claims Review Officer for the Nova Scotia Barristers Society Liability Claims Fund and was formerly a member of the Discipline Hearing Committee. Tom has also been active with a number of community boards and charitable organizations during his time at BOYNECLARKE LLP.
Tom has been recognized by his peers and is regularly included in Best Lawyers in Canada and Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. In 2013, Tom was named the Best Lawyers 2014 Halifax Real Estate Law "Lawyer of the Year".
