Jared Jordan, CFE, leads Weaver’s Forensics and Litigation Service practice. Jared has 20 years of experience assisting clients with the financial aspects of disputes and investigations, including serving as an expert witness in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration. He analyzes damage claims; performs fraud and financial forensics investigations; values businesses and intangible assets; assesses corporate governance practices and internal controls; and evaluates complex data sets resulting from allegations of breach of contract, infringement, financial misrepresentation, fraud or misconduct, misuse of corporate funds and breach of fiduciary duty, among others. He regularly directs large complex engagements involving multi-disciplinary teams of forensic accountants, fraud examiners, business valuators, engineers, statisticians, data specialists, and electronic discovery and computer forensics personnel. Jared regularly teaches both clients and colleagues on wide range of topics, such as quantifying damages and conducting fraud, forensic and special investigations in and out of the litigation setting.
Before joining Weaver, Jared was a managing director at HSSK, LLC, and an associate director at an international, publicly traded consulting firm. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and currently serves on the Advisory Council for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Jared is also the director of the Austin-area chapter of the ACFE.
