Her primary focus includes IT audits, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting and data analytics. She has experience performing IT risk assessments and executing IT internal audits, including database administration, web administration and data privacy. Through all of her engagements, she works to help clients balance compliance with organizational resource restrictions, and to educate process owners so they can make better internal control decisions.
A Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Reema is an active member of numerous industry associations, including the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Association for Data Center Management Professionals (AFCOM) International, for which she also served as secretary for the Greater Houston chapter. Reema is a frequent speaker on various IT topics for professional audiences. Recent speaking engagements include the 2016 AICPA National Oil and Gas Conference, as well as numerous IIA and ISACA chapter conferences. Reema earned a Master of Science degree in information systems technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and information systems from George Washington University.
