Exemption from IMT (Municipal Property Transfer Tax) and IS (Stamp Tax)

Law no. 30-A/2024 of 20 June was published, authorising the Government to exempt the purchase of a first permanent home by young people up to the age of 35 from municipal property transfer tax (IMT) and stamp duty (IS).

The authorisation granted lasts 180 days.
