The Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (“ASF”), submitted for public consultation a Draft Regulatory Standard, which will amend Regulatory Standard No. 8/2021-R, of 16 November, establishing new rules for calculating the minimum value of liabilities arising from defined benefit pension plans and health benefit plans financed by pension funds, by adopting a methodology that seeks to take into account, on the one hand, the evolution of market interest rates and, on the other, the specific objective of forecasting a minimum value, thus seeking to establish a dynamic approach that is sensitive to variations in the macroeconomic environment.
