Financial Institutions and Markets

The Bank of Portugal's Instruction no. 16/2021 was published on 10 December, which sets out the information requirements that credit institutions, financial companies, payment institutions and electronic money institutions must report on the implementation of the PARI and PERSI procedures, as well as the communication model they must follow for that purpose.

This Instruction revokes Bank of Portugal’s Instruction no.44/2012 and will enter into force on 15 January 2021. Until 14 February 2022 institutions must report information on the period between 7 and 31 August 2021 and January 2022.
