Law 13/2023, of April 3 was published, amending the Labour Code and related legislation, within the framework of the dignified work agenda.
Law 13/2023 of April 3 changes more than 90 articles in the Labour Code, with changes in several areas, from parenting to teleworking, including extending the compensation to be paid to the worker from 12 to 14 days in the event of collective dismissal or termination of employment; also changing the compensation paid to the worker at the end of a fixed-term contract from 18 to 24 days of salary.
On the other hand, Law 13/2023, of April 3, amends a series of legislation related to the Labour Code, changes of which we highlight the amendments to the Labour Process Code, the Procedural Regime applicable to labour administrative offences, the Statute of the General Labour Inspectorate, the Law that regulates de legal regime inherent to temporary work or the Decree-Law that establishes the legal regime of labour relations arising from the domestic service contract.
Most of the changes come into force on 1 May.
