In line with government advice, leisure centres in the UK have been closed since 21 March 2020 and are unlikely to re-open until July 2020 at the earliest.
Penny and her team are legal specialists in local authority leisure projects. As a result, Blake Morgan were asked by FMG Consulting, leisure specialist advisers, to aid them in developing a post-lockdown roadmap to business recovery to support authorities and operators at this difficult time.
This tool has been designed to help local authorities with their planning for leisure centre contracts during the coronavirus outbreak. It contains guidance on interpreting the latest Public Procurement Notices 02/20 and 04/20, and a roadmap to get back to a new 'market normal'.
