Hurricane Dorian recently caused catastrophic damage in The Bahamas. According to many reports, the current property and economic damage is estimated at USD $8 billion. A significantly more important issue than property damage is the extensive human casualties and the developing humanitarian crisis in areas like Grand Bahama Island and Abaco Island.
Since 2001, TAG Alliances members have joined together to extend support when significant global humanitarian needs arise. Earlier this week, the Directors of TAG Foundation approved a donation of $5,000 USD to The Bahamas’ National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). We hope this donation will make a positive impact on the recovery efforts.
