When you are not working, how do you enjoy spending your time?
I love spending time with my family, cooking Japanese recipes, playing golf on one of the many beautiful Isle of Man courses, reading business biographies, or watching Formula 1.

What does being an advisor mean to you?
While not an accountant or lawyer, my role of connecting new clients with our different business units and helping them come up with solutions for their requests is hugely satisfying. Being exposed to structures involving jurisdictions all over the world is fascinating, and I love that I can connect my South African network looking to internationalise their businesses with service providers wherever they are seeking to grow.
What value do you and your firm receive from TAG Alliances membership?
We were proud members of TAG Alliances for many years prior to our rebrand and continue to derive great value from the relationship. The network we have built having attended many events over the years is invaluable to our group and to the individuals representing us at these global events.
What is something unique about your firm?
Over the past 36 months, we have grown the business from 30 people to over 100 people through a number of acquisitions whilst remaining proudly owner-managed and run. The richness of our culture has been enhanced by the coming together of the different businesses and our new Atla Group brand has been embraced by all.
