A total of £5,641.68 has been raised by GMcG for mental health charity, AWARE.
GMcG employees took part in a range of activities to help raise funds for AWARE, the firm's charity partner for 2018-2019, and help promote the charity's messages and programmes related to mental health awareness. The activities included participating in the Belfast City Marathon and a Slieve Donard Trek, as well as cake sales, dress down days and a range of other office based activities.
The Directors at GMcG would like to express their thanks to all who donated to the firm's Justgiving pages or played any part in organising or supporting the fundraising activities. GMcG Managing Director Susan Dunlop adds:
"It has been a pleasure partnering with AWARE and learning more about the services offered by the charity. Mental health continues to dominate our headlines and it really brings into sharp focus the value of AWARE's work and the programmes they deliver across our communities.
Our employees thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the fundraising activities and we are grateful to all who were involved in helping the firm raise this amount of money. It is a fantastic total and we know it is greatly appreciated by AWARE. We would also like to take the opportunity to wish AWARE every success with future fundraising and with its valuable work in helping people overcome depression".
