Mercer & Hole is delighted to welcome Dominic Dumville to the firm as a Corporate Advisory Partner. Dominic, a licenced insolvency practitioner, qualified accountant and corporate finance professional, joins the firm from Haslers.
Dominic will be working out of the firm’s St Albans and Rickmansworth offices, alongside his fellow partners in Corporate Advisory to protect, maintain and create value for struggling businesses. His appointment supports our top 40 accountancy firm’s approach of joined-up thinking across all services and whilst Dominic will concentrate on supporting distressed businesses, his background equips him with the ability to fully appreciate and understand the bigger picture.
In addition to acting in formal insolvency or restructuring processes, Dominic will also take on a more forensic role, when required, leaning on powers afforded to insolvency practitioners in the Insolvency Act.
Speaking of Dominic’s appointment, Corporate Advisory Partner, Steve Smith said “Within the role of a corporate restructuring professional, developing a thorough understanding of the business in financial difficulty is fundamental. Dominic’s experience provides him with excellent technical skills and an insight, which will, I am certain, be a real asset to the clients he works with.”
Dominic’s appointment takes Mercer & Hole to a 25 partner firm, with a team of over 200. The firm has four UK offices and global reach through its founder membership of The International Accounting Group (TIAG), part of TAG Alliances.
