GMcG presented a cheque for over £7,615 to its 2016-2017 Charity Partner, Cancer Fund for Children.
The funds were raised over the period via a range of events and activities, organised by individuals across all three GMcG offices and by the firm’s Social Committee. Events included taking part in a Dragon Boat Race, Belfast City marathon, abseiling down the Europa and hosting a number of coffee mornings in each office.
Susan Dunlop, GMcG marketing partner, was delighted with the generosity of GMcG staff and the amount raised:
“It was a tremendous achievement to raise this amount of money. It was beyond what we had ever expected to raise but it’s testament to the generosity of our staff and their efforts to support such a worthy cause.
Credit goes to the firm’s Social Committee for organising a range of events and to the many individuals from across the firm who supported events or organised their own fundraising activities”.
