In a forward move, Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants have launched an Expert Witness service, which brings together the expertise within the firm to provide reliable support giving evidence and opinion on business valuation, professional negligence and divorce cases.
Mercer & Hole’s expert witnesses are all practising professionals in their fields who are skilled in presenting their opinions in writing and in court. They offer high levels of expert opinion across all aspects of accountancy, tax and financial planning.
The firm's expert witnesses have already been instructed in a broad range of cases. The multi-discipline service brings together those individuals to join up knowledge and experience where different skills are required.
The Expert Witness team comprises Gill Tallon, Chris Laughton, Phil Fenn, Andy Crook, Iain Muffitt and Michael Lapham. They will be supported by colleagues within various teams at the firm to fulfil expert witness work.
Speaking about the team Gill Tallon said “The specialists within our Expert Witness team have been complimented for providing credible and clear opinions on complex issues in a way which is easy to understand. Our expert witnesses are highly regarded within the legal profession”.
Mercer & Hole’s Expert Witness services operate firm-wide, across Mercer & Hole’s four offices in London, St Albans, Rickmansworth and Milton Keynes and its launch forms part of the firm’s strategy for growth.
