Mercer & Hole update Business Rescue Case Studies publication
Mercer & Hole’s Restructuring & Insolvency team have launched an updated version of Business Rescue Case Studies. The publication presents a range of examples where the Restructuring & Insolvency team have saved companies that had financial concerns.
The experience of a technology company where the company’s customer base had not grown sufficiently to support their operating costs and its investment funding was running out demonstrates how an ailing company can be saved and turned into a profitable one. Another example shows how an FCA registered company was rescued as a going concern through a Company Voluntary Arrangement and is now trading normally once again. The publication also features the plight of a charity, a cross-border insolvency case and the challenges of rescuing businesses within a group.
Throughout the publication, the case studies reinforce the message that the most important step for a financially distressed company is that the Directors seek professional advice at the earliest opportunity.
