Berdon LLP (New York, New York, USA) partner and TIAG Advisory Board Member, Ronald Storch has been elected Board Chairman of the Long Island Children's Museum. Storch, who has been a member of LICM's board since 2008, has served the organization's board as vice chairman and chairman of the finance committee. The Roslyn resident succeeds co-chairs Robert S. Lemle and Scott Rechler. The pair will remain members of the Children's Museum Board of Trustees.
"As a parent and the son of an educator, the Museum's educational mission resonates deeply with me," notes Storch. "One of the great joys of my board service has been participating in the Museum's growth from a popular community resource to an esteemed institution and recipient of the National Medal for Museum & Library Service."
Storch praised his predecessors for their leadership and dedication to the Museum. "Robert Lemle and Scott Rechler set the bar for philanthropic commitment to their community and I am grateful to have their advice and service as I step into this new board role."
