Randy Myeroff, CEO of regional CPA firm Cohen & Company (Ohio, USA), has been elected to the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) Board. The GCP focuses on advocacy, economic and business development, infrastructure and physical development, and economic inclusion and minority business development efforts in the Cleveland-plus region, which includes greater Cleveland, Akron, Canton and Youngstown.
Myeroff has been involved with the GCP and its predecessors for many years, including most recently serving on the GCP Government Advisory Council.
"This is a great opportunity," says Myeroff. "As CEO of a firm continually trying to help businesses find opportunity in our region, I couldn't be happier to serve an organization devoted to economic development in Northeast Ohio. Our region is on such a positive track right now. I look forward to working with the GCP to help public and private sectors continue to work together to make our region even stronger."
Myeroff's leadership of Cohen & Company has led the firm to grow nearly five-fold since becoming CEO in 1997. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs' Governing Council and the Major Firms Group, 50 Club of Cleveland and has served many community organizations. Myeroff also frequently speaks to organizations on management and governance issues.
