Cohen & Company (Ohio, USA) Partner and Tax Technical Director Tony Bakale was honored with Cleveland State University's (CSU) George B. Davis Award for service to the university. He received the honor at CSU's Distinguished Alumni Awards program on September 18th. The award recognizes an alumni's generous dedication to the growth and advancement of the university.
"It's a fantastic honor," says Bakale. "I'm very excited."
Among other contributions, Bakale served on the Accounting Department Advisory Committee in CSU's Monte Ahuja College of Business for 28 years, chairing the group for three. He has taught classes, is a former member and past president of the CSU Alumni Association Board, and is a member of the CSU Foundation Board of Directors. Bakale's also been an avid Viking basketball fan and season ticket holder for the past 27 years.
"Tony follows a very impressive list of former honorees, and we are remarkably proud of him," says Randy Myeroff, Cohen & Company CEO.
