Members from the Akron, Cleveland, Milwaukee and Youngstown offices of Cohen & Company (Ohio, USA) and its related firm Cohen Fund Audit Services participated in a firm-wide service day on August 1st. The two firms had more than 100 individuals involved in the event.
"Working together to provide our clients with great service is always fulfilling," says Randy Myeroff, Cohen & Company CEO, "but being hands on to help community organizations further their mission is an opportunity we are so proud to have each year. It's also a great way to build on the camaraderie our firm has worked so hard to establish."
Cohen & Company and Cohen Fund Audit Services annually provide the opportunity for employees to experience a paid day off to provide service to others. This year employees in the Akron and Cleveland offices volunteered on projects from trail maintenance, to shelf building, to house washing at Hines Hill Center in Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Peninsula. Youngstown employees spent the day painting at Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Metroparks, and Milwaukee employees removed invasive plants at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.
