DTE Business Advisers grows Tax Department - Clare Lloyd joins as Senior Tax Manager
Manchester based DTE Business Advisers today announced it has appointed senior tax manager Clare Lloyd to work in its tax division, growing the team to eight people. Clare will be based at DTE's office in Bury.
Clare has joined DTE from BDO LLP where she spent over six years as a tax manager within the legacy PKF division of the newly merged firm, having previously worked at Deloitte and KPMG in Manchester. She has over 18 years of tax experience having dealt with all aspects of both multinational and SME or owner managed businesses.
Key expertise includes dealing with M&A restructuring projects, tax due diligence, share valuations for EMI schemes and other tax purposes and dealing with a number of AIM / PLUS market flotation and fund-raising exercises using Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Relief.
Clare Lloyd said: "At DTE I will be able to return to what is important to me and to what I see as my vocation: building close relationships with my clients and making a difference to their businesses and their futures. I am excited about becoming a dynamic and influential part of this growing practice.
"I believe that in order to provide the right advice to an owner-managed business and its shareholders, there must be total transparency over both corporate and personal tax matters."
George Lovell, tax partner, DTE Business Advisers said "Clare represents a strategic appointment for the firm; her broad base and depth of experience will strengthen and expand DTE's presence within the North West and means that we will be able to provide a wider variety of added-value services to our existing and expanding client base."
