ESV (New South Wales, Australia) held its first Business Owner Speaker Series at the Hilton's Zeta Bar on the 13th November to celebrate the launch of its new brand identity.
Many of those clients who attended contributed during the early brand development phase. Their feedback and contribution was invaluable in helping shape the new look and feel by conveying what it meant to them to work and partner with ESV.
The overarching view was that ESV was "big enough to solve complex problems yet small enough to know you personally well".
ESV took this notion and used it to define a distinct market and brand proposition, that being "a company that provides business and accounting advice for business owners".
At the event, ESV was privileged to have Harold Mitchell as a guest speaker. He's undoubtedly one of the most successful business owners in Australia. He has achieved so much in his career - which he said hasn't always been easy, but his determination and desire to succeed is what resonated with the audience. His stories were inspiring, very real and at times fierce and often humbling.
Harold was kind enough to give us his time so we wanted to return the favour with a donation to his chosen charity CARE Australia - to help those impacted by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
The Business Owner Speaker Series will be a regular quarterly event hosted at different locations across Sydney for existing clients and business owners. The events are a great way to network with like-minded business professionals, as well as hear from some of Australia's best thought leaders and story-tellers.
