Graham Einfeld, a founding Partner of mid tier chartered accountancy firm ESV (Sydney, Australia) has been awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for services to the community, particularly through roles in education and healthcare organisations.

With a strong family background in helping others less fortunate, Mr. Einfeld has worked tirelessly over the years to give something back to his community. He has worked on the expansion of Moriah College in the 1970s and the expansion of the Wolper Jewish Hospital. He is actively involved with Jewish Communal Appeal, which provides financial support for benevolent organisations working with groups such as the aged and disadvantaged.

Growing up, Mr. Einfeld’s family instilled in him a strong sense of service to both the Jewish and the wider community, “they set the scene for what I should also do.” It was this family culture that has driven his almost instinctive desire to work for his community.

“It is fantastic to be honoured with such an important award”, Mr. Einfeld said.
