Weaver announced the addition of Timothy Kim as a director in its Valuation practice. With over two decades of experience in real estate valuation, consulting and advisory services, Timothy’s career has focused on diverse property types and client sectors.
At Weaver, Timothy will offer real estate valuation and consulting services for estate and gift tax, corporate mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, portfolio management and financial reporting, including purchase price allocation, fair value measurement and impairment testing. His portfolio of work spans a wide range of property types, including hotels, data centers, cell towers, senior living facilities, development land, apartments, office buildings, self-storage facilities, industrial spaces and shopping centers.
Before joining Weaver, Timothy served as a senior vice president of real estate valuation and advisory services at an investment banking firm. He has also held management roles in valuation at various firms. Timothy’s clients have included family offices, pension funds, investment advisors, corporations, financial institutions, REITs and private equity funds.

Timothy is an MAI-designated member of the Appraisal Institute and a certified general appraiser in 11 states, including Georgia, Florida, Texas and New York. He holds a Master of Science in real estate finance and investment from New York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in information systems from Bernard M. Baruch College.
