National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, has announced Mark Hayden, CPA, CFA, ASA, as a managing director in its rapidly growing Valuation practice.
Based in Weaver’s Woodland Hills (Los Angeles) office, Hayden brings more than three decades of experience in business and securities valuation, forensic accounting and mathematical modeling. Hayden has held partner-level positions at two Big Four firms where he focused on valuing operating companies, intangible assets and complex financial instruments.
“Mark is a tremendous addition to our Valuation practice on the West Coast, and his ability to advise businesses on the most complex valuation issues greatly enhances Weaver’s service offerings,” said Curt Germany, Weaver’s partner-in-charge, valuation services.
Hayden has a proven track record of supporting clients in acquisitions, divestitures and post-closing disputes, where his insights into corporate valuation and economic damages have been critical. He has testified as an expert witness in federal and state courts across the country and presented before an SEC panel on fair value matters related to acquired license agreements.
He is a certified public accountant (CPA) in California, a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and an accredited senior appraiser (ASA). Hayden earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Indiana University and an MBA in corporate finance and accounting from UC Davis. He is working to complete a Master of Science in applied and computational math from Johns Hopkins University in 2025.
