Weaver is pleased to announce that Brian O’Neal has joined the firm as a partner in its Consulting practice. Based in Houston, Brian will leverage his extensive experience in market operations, analytics, asset optimization and commodity risk management to enhance Weaver’s advisory services within the energy sector.
Brian’s career includes more than 20 years of Big Four experience, where he led strategic initiatives across energy, financial services, agribusiness and industrial manufacturing sectors. In previous roles, he also worked within trading risk governance, commodity hedging strategy, model risk management, systems optimization and energy data analytics.

Brian holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Rice University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Texas.
