Weaver has grown its Private Client Services (PCS) team with the addition of Prerna Jagada, CPA, as a tax director based in Dallas.
Prerna has more than 25 years of public accounting experience in tax compliance, income tax planning, stock option and philanthropic planning for high-net-worth individuals. Her experience extends to tax controversy, and she has represented clients both in IRS and state tax audits.
Previously a tax director at a California-based accounting and consulting firm where she spent her entire career, Prerna was an integral part of the high-net-worth practice and led the tax service delivery for tax-exempt organizations. This includes work with public charities and private foundations assisting with tax-exempt reporting requirements as well as tracking risk areas such as UBIT reporting. In addition, she contributed to the design and implementation of best practices, procedures, checklists and trainings for staff on tax compliance.
“Prerna’s extensive experience and dedication bring immense value to our team,” said partner-in-charge, Private Client Services, Justin Reeves. “We are delighted to have her talent and commitment to staff mentorship and excellent client service as we work to grow our PCS practice nationally.”
