Selina McUmber Joins Weaver as Managing Director, Real Estate Valuation Services

Weaver is pleased to announce the expansion of its Valuation services team with the addition of Selina McUmber, managing director. In her new role, Selina will work closely with the firm’s national real estate industry team to provide specialty valuation services for real estate investment funds.

With a tenure spanning over 15 years, Selina has deep experience in the valuation of industrial, office, retail and multi-family commercial properties along with vacant land, residential subdivision developments, residential condominium developments and mixed-use developments. Her work also includes consulting with real estate funds to establish valuation policies and institute valuation procedures.

Selina’s background includes appraisal services for some of the largest institutional, open-end equity funds in the United States. She has worked with pension funds, pension fund advisors, investment advisers, corporations, life insurance companies, developers, national and regional financial institutions, conduit lenders, mortgage loan servicers, attorneys and accountants in the completion of more than 6,000 valuations in the U.S. and Latin America.

Based in Weaver’s Fort Worth office, Selina is a certified general appraiser, holding licensure in 16 states and a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI). She is also a member of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE®) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
