Zach Anderson, Houston, Texas
Partner, Tax Services
Zach has 10 years of experience in public accounting, including eight years of Big Four firm experience. He provides federal and state tax consulting and compliance services to domestic and international investment fund managers, including private equity, credit, venture capital, fund of funds, infrastructure, and oil and gas focused funds. Zach also assists clients in fund formations, deal structuring and M&A tax due diligence. He has led tax compliance for clients ranging from emerging managers to more than $30 billion of assets under management. Zach is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in accounting from University of the Incarnate Word.
Michael Bell, Houston, Texas
Partner, Energy Compliance Services
Michael has more than 10 years of experience in the petroleum and renewable fuels sectors. His experience includes process engineering design of crude oil processing and gas treating facilities, third-party Engineering Reviews, Quality Assurance Plans, and strategic regulatory consulting for renewable fuels clients. He is an accredited Lead Verifier under the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and under Oregon’s Clean Fuels Program.
Michael is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and has earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering with minor in chemistry from Texas A&M University.
Tashiana Briggs, Houston, Texas
Partner, Tax Services
Tashiana has nearly 15 years of public accounting experience, all at Weaver, where she started as an intern. Her industry focus is in professional services, manufacturing, distribution and retail. Her professional background encompasses numerous areas of federal and state tax, including tax compliance and consultation. Tashiana is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas and a member of the AICPA and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). She earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Stephen F. Austin University.
Travis Casner, Austin, Texas
Partner, Forensics and Litigation Services
Travis has more than 12 years of experience providing investigative and financial forensic services for entities in the public and private sectors. He has managed numerous financial forensic investigations involving allegations of fraud, financial mismanagement, financial misrepresentation, misuse of government funds, conflicts of interest, employee misconduct and theft, and other types of white-collar crime. Before joining Weaver, Travis was a manager in the Dispute Advisory and Forensics practice of HSSK, LLC and served in a manager-level position of an international, publicly traded consulting firm.
Patrick De Loache, Fort Worth, Texas
Partner, Tax Services
Patrick has 10 years of experience in public accounting and has been with Weaver for his entire career. His focus is on tax consulting and compliance in the real estate and manufacturing, distribution and retail industries. Patrick’s experience includes complex transaction tax consulting and multistate compliance, as well as working alongside clients to ease the burden of annual tax compliance. Patrick is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), Fort Worth chapter, and the AICPA. He is a certified public accountant in Texas and earned both his Masters of Science and Bachelors of Business in accounting degrees from Texas Tech University.
