ESV Business advice and accounting is thrilled to announce three new strategic promotions who will join the firm's highly skilled Senior Leadership Team:
- James Raiti as Client Director
- Shae Rasmussen as Client Director
- Hemant Nisar as Technical Director
These promotions reflect the firm's continued growth journey which is made possible due to the support of ESV's valued clients, business partners and team members.
ESV's longest serving Partner, Kurt Baker (who himself commenced his journey with ESV as a Cadet) commented …
“It is so pleasing to see our own home-grown talent take the next step in their career with ESV, as they continue to make their mark in their chosen area of speciality.
We focus on providing a clear pathway for all team members – our people know exactly what they need to achieve to go from Junior Advisor right through to Client Director and then Partner.
We offer the training, mentoring and support our people need to achieve their career goals. Through initiatives including our Emerging Leaders Program, Management Development Coaching Program and bespoke Coaching Leadership Development Program - we create individual programs that support growth and development. This is a key differentiator for ESV which we are very proud of.”
James, Shae and Hemant all commenced their journey with ESV at different stages of their career.
James Raiti first started with ESV back in 2014 as an Advisor – pursued some other opportunities for a period and then re-joined the firm four years ago as the culture principles and values at ESV perfectly aligned with his own. James has become a trusted advisor to a number of valued clients, many of whom are in the construction, mining and renewable industries.
James adds “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to continue working hand-in-hand with business owners in the mining, construction and renewable industry space. My team and I will continue our focus on helping our clients navigate a successful business journey through delivery of our bespoke client service plans.”
Shae Rasmussen arrived as a Senior Advisor from New Zealand thinking the tax systems were much the same (he now knows they’re not), and over the last five plus years has developed an unwavering dedication to his clients. Shae assists high net wealth individuals, family groups and international clients who are looking to commence operations on Australian shores to achieve their goals.
Shae reflects “I started at ESV back in 2016 on a rather steep learning curve after realising the tax systems and business environment within Australia are very different to those in New Zealand. Since that time, I have relished the opportunity to work with several multinationals to effectively establish and build a presence in Australia. Playing my part in helping these entities grow has provided immense satisfaction.”
Hemant Nisar started his career doing tax returns, but the world of audit was where he found his passion. Hemant joined ESV as a Senior Auditor just over eight years ago and has become an invaluable member of the extensive Audit and Assurance team. Hemant is known and trusted by many of ESV's key audit clients and will continue to manage these audit engagements and also add additional responsibilities relating to the production of technical accounting papers and technical advice to his repertoire.
Hemant says “I’m enjoying the opportunity to offer additional technical expertise to clients of ESV in the areas of audit, assurance and regulatory requirements. This additional in-house technical focus, rounds out the extensive audit and assurance service offering for clients of ESV.”
ESV focuses on technical expertise with the cultural values of dare to challenge, dog with a bone, dot the I’s, go hard / go home and people count. James, Shae and Hemant display these principals on a daily basis and focus on delivering exceptional human experiences to their valued clients and fellow team members.
Kurt concludes “we’re so excited to see the next career chapter for James, Shae and Hemant as they continue on their journey for growth.”
