Cohen & Company is pleased to announce that partners Tina Dzik, CPA, MBA, and Josh Lefcowitz, CPA/ABV/CFF, CFE, ASA, have been elected to the firm's Board of Managers.
Tina Dzik is an assurance partner based in the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio, office. She is integral to technical training and quality control initiatives for the firm and serves as director of independence. Tina specializes in helping clients improve their internal controls and works closely with clients on their various attest needs. She also serves on the Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee for the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
Josh Lefcowitz is based in the firm’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, office and leads the Valuation Services Group. He has over 20 years of public accounting experience providing a diverse group of clients with dispute advisory, forensic accounting and valuation services related to businesses, intangible assets, purchase price allocations, intellectual property, oil and natural gas rights in Marcellus Shale formation, and goodwill impairment testing.
Nominated and voted on by the firm’s ownership group, board members serve staggered three-year terms. The board has important fiduciary responsibility relating to a variety of oversight matters.
Other board members include Adam Hill, Marcy Kempf, Corey McLaughlin, Kim Palmer, Ravi Singh, Dave Sobochan and Rob Velotta. CEO Chris Bellamy holds a permanent position on the board.
