We are delighted to announce our chosen charities of the year by office location are:
London, Richard House Children’s Hospice – Richard House Children’s Hospice based in East London, provides palliative care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across London.
We are incredibly excited to have been chosen as Mercer & Hole’s Charity of the Year. The ongoing impact of the pandemic has left us facing a significant deficit which could lead to vital services that our families rely on being cut. Partnerships like this one play a huge role in keeping the hospice open and allowing vulnerable families to receive the support and care they need, completely free of charge. We are looking forward to the year ahead, working together to ensure we reach as many seriously ill children, and their families, as possible.
St Albans, The OLLIE Foundation – The OLLIE Foundation’s mission is to reduce the incidence of suicide, particularly amongst our young. We are devoted to stopping teenagers and young people from taking their own lives. We do this primarily through training and education.
“Being one of Mercer & Hole’s charities of the year will support us to continue our much needed and vital work. We could not be more grateful to all their staff for selecting OLLIE and making a difference to the local community.”
Rickmansworth, Raise West Herts – We are dedicated to raising funds so patients in our West Herts Hospitals receive care above and beyond what would be possible with NHS funding alone.
‘It’s wonderful to hear that Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants have decided to support Raise, West Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity, as their charity of the year. We are looking forward to seeing staff embrace fundraising for us by doing something fun, perhaps joining in with our neon fun run or our fire walk. We’re sure you have lots of marvellous ideas of your own too, and we look forward to supporting you with them! Many thanks again to the staff who voted for us; the money raised will help support patient care, above and beyond what would be possible with NHS funding alone.’
Milton Keynes, Winter Night Shelter – We Support The MK Homeless In Their Search For Accommodation, Work And Medical Care. The Bus Shelter MK Is Here To Support Milton Keynes Homeless
Thank you so much for deciding to support WNSMK as Mercer & Hole’s charity of the year – we certainly do not take your support for granted as it enables us to help the 200 or so people that need our help and support each week.
Each office location has a dedicated Charity Champion who provide fantastic support to each charity, they come up with creative ways to fundraise and also organise learn and lunches so all team members are aware of what valuable support their charity provides in the community.
