A leading accountancy firm which has offices across Warwickshire has been recognised for its innovative use of technology at a major regional award ceremony.
Burgis & Bullock have been named the winners of the Best Use of Technology at the Coventry and Warwickshire First ‘FirstPro’2020 Awards.
The firm, which has offices in Leamington, Nuneaton, Rugby and Stratford-upon-Avon, received the award as part of an online virtual ceremony which brought together businesses from across the region to celebrate their successes.
Burgis & Bullock has introduced a range of new tools and technology into its practice over the last 12 months and the FirstPro award recognises that commitment to pushing digital boundaries.
The firm has been proactive in encouraging business owners to adopt cloud accounting software, marketing programmes to support business development and other applications to analyse business performance.
This includes the Virtual Financial Director (VFD), a cutting-edge financial performance analysis and reporting tool, and the firm is leading the accounting sector in their adoption of the core software to cut costs and increase top-line growth and profitability for clients.
A new online learning management system has also been deployed to support staff and clients in tracking progress and attainment.
And the firm has introduced marketing automation to enable the mass distribution of educational support material for business owners and their staff.
Sean Farnell, Partner at Burgis & Bullock, said: “To win the FirstPro Best Use of Technology award is great recognition for the hard work of our staff in implementing new technology across the business over the course of the last year.
“This year, more than ever before, technology has been at the forefront of everything we do at Burgis & Bullock and that has been amplified by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We have been using a combination of software and technologies as an integrated package of tools and processes to streamline delivery and maximise the impact for as wider pool of businesses as possible.
“We’re always looking to identify opportunities to further support our clients and their ambitions as a business and introducing new technology is a valuable tool in helping to realise those ambitions.”
