Current Leaders reflect on turning 30 years young
With any milestone comes an opportunity to reflect on time gone by. From humble beginnings ESV has grown to a firm servicing a variety of clients from Multinationals to ASX listed companies to family groups and individuals across a multitude of industries.
Through a virtual round table discussion our Partners and CEO were recently asked to reflect on their proudest moments and describe what they believe our strengths are. Here we share some of their thoughts …
Kurt Baker, Partner
“ESV’s success has come from building deep, long-lasting and trusted relationships. Our clients rely on us to help them make the right decisions at the right time. We are with them on their business journey – from cradle to grave.”
Geoff Tierney, Partner
“It’s not arrogance but pride that we get to know a client’s business as well as the business owners. We need to understand the business drivers, be able to tell the true story behind the numbers and provide real value to the company’s management team.”
Maree Macphail, Partner
“The questions we ask our clients will change depending on the industry they are in, the stage of their business journey and outside forces, like a global pandemic! Providing niche solutions for various sectors be that Medico, Funds Management, Inbound or Not for Profits has shown we understand each sectors’ idiosyncrasies and deliver a seamless bespoke solution.”
David Prichard, Partner
“At ESV we don’t just do compliance, we offer specialist expertise. Be that tax consulting or strategic tax planning or business advisory for the future. Artificial Intelligence will change many parts of our lives in the future – however the role of an experienced advisor still needs to be fulfilled by an expert human!”
