Cohen & Company is pleased to announce that Kim Palmer and Adam Hill have been elected to the firm's Board of Managers.
Kim Palmer, based in the Akron office, is a tax partner and leads the firm’s Partnership Tax Group. She assists clients with complex restructuring transactions, including the purchase/sale of assets and ownership interests, buyouts between owners, issuance of ownership interests and debt restructuring transactions. Adam Hill, based in the Cleveland office, is a partner in the Real Estate Advisory Group and leads the firm’s Real Estate Group. He assists clients across the country with business, attest and tax issues for the real estate, construction and energy industries. Additionally, incumbents Nevin Nussbaum and Rob Velotta were re-elected to the board for another term. Remaining board members include Tony Bakale, Marcy Kempf, Mike Kolk, Corey McLaughlin and Keith Stafford. CEO, Randy Myeroff, has a permanent position on the board.
Nominated and voted on by the firm’s ownership group, board members serve staggered three-year terms. The board has important fiduciary responsibility relating to a variety of oversight matters.
