National certified public accounting (CPA) and advisory firm Weaver, a top 35 firm in the United States, has named David Rook, CPA, as Chief Operating Officer. David has led Weaver’s audit and advisory practices for more than a decade. As Chief Operating Officer, he will be responsible for implementing the firm’s strategic vision and optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of practices firm wide. David will also collaborate with the firm’s leadership and partners to deliver client service excellence through professional development and advocacy.

David has more than 22 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on providing audit services to public and private companies in the energy and manufacturing industries. He served on the technical standards review and peer review committees of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy for several years, and is active in several professional and industry accounting organizations. David serves his community through youth sports and charitable organizations that are important to him.
