Berger Singerman's Legal Elite

FOURTEEN BERGER SINGERMAN ATTORNEYS NAMED TO
FLORIDA TREND’S 2007 FLORIDA LEGAL ELITE LIST

MIAMI, FL –Fourteen lawyers from the Florida business law firm Berger Singerman were listed in the 2008 edition Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite list, published in its July 2008 issue.  This list is compiled from a statewide poll of practicing attorneys in Florida, through which the magazine sought to identify the most highly regarded attorneys among their peers.

The Florida Legal Elite list represents the top 1.8 percent of lawyers practicing in Florida. The selection process began with notifying and inviting members of The Florida Bar to participate in balloting by providing the names of Florida lawyers they hold in highest regard.   After the ballots were processed, each lawyer was given a score based on the number of votes her or she received and whether the votes came from within the firm or outside the firm. The list of lawyers was further examined using membership status and histories provided by The Florida Bar.  A panel of 2007 Legal Elite lawyers reviewed the selection process and list of finalists.

The following Berger Singerman lawyers were on the list in the respective categories listed below:

•    Robert W. Barron – Real Estate Transactions
•    Douglas Alan Bates - Up-and-Comer Legal Elite
