John P. Rocco, President and CEO of von Briesen & Roper, s.c., announced today that William D. Gardner joined the firm as a Shareholder.

Attorney William D. Gardner joins the firm’s Banking and Commercial Finance Section in the Milwaukee office. Gardner has extensive experience representing banks, non-bank lenders and borrowers in loan originations, workouts, financial restructurings and bankruptcies. He advises on legislative, regulatory and other developments impacting the financial services industry and uses for new technology, including blockchain.
Gardner is a Recognized Practitioner 2019 in Chambers USA for Banking & Finance (Wisconsin). He is a member of Business Loans Coalition, an advocacy organization of the Loan Syndications Trading Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Secured Finance Network and American Bar Association.
Gardner serves as secretary and a member of the board of directors for the Bel Canto Chorus. He received a J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and a B.S. from the University of California-Los Angeles.
