Today, July 1st, Alejandro Chechilnitzky has officially joined to Guerrero Olivos, as a senior counsel of the tax practice group, in order to further improve the good performance of this area with his experience and knowledge in this field.
Until the end of June, Alejandro held the position of senior manager at EY. He is a lawyer from Universidad Diego Portales; he holds a master’s degree in Tax Law from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez; an LLM from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law; and a Certificate in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management. In addition, as part of his experience, he worked at PWC´s International Tax Services department in Chicago, USA.
This incorporation to the Tax team has as objective to strengthen this area to face intense work in recent years.
The implementation of the 2014 and 2016 Tax Reforms, and the current discussion of the bill of law sent by the government to Congress with new modifications along with the recent developments of the international tax rules, transfer pricing and taxation of the digital economy have created the need for our team to grow in order to continue delivering an excellent service.
In addition, Alejandro integration to the team consolidates the growth of the area, comprised by litigation and audit team, and the business and personal consultancy team.
