Herrick, Feinstein LLP is pleased to announce that Philip Tucker has joined as a partner and Maryam C. Toosie has joined as special condominium counsel. Both new team members signify the firm’s continued leadership and excellence in the area of condominium and cooperative law.
Phil and Maryam join Douglas Heller and Herrick’s well-established Condominium and Cooperative Law Practice, which guides real estate developers as they navigate the many complicated requirements for ongoing public offerings of new construction and conversion projects in and outside New York State.
Phil Tucker has worked with a number of New York City’s largest developers on some of the most sophisticated mixed-use condominium projects of the last decade, including Riverside Center on the Upper West Side; Sky View Parc in Flushing; 30 Park Place; Four Seasons Private Residences New York Downtown; and Pacific Park on the site of the former Atlantic Yards Terminal in Brooklyn. Consequently, Phil has developed a broad base of experience and expertise that will prove to be a critical asset to developers, investors, and lenders seeking to capitalize on the City’s ever-evolving and consistently dynamic cooperative and condominium market.
Phil advises clients on every aspect of the planning and implementation of such projects, from pre-acquisition due diligence to the preparation of offering plan materials and no-action applications, as well as the marketing and sale of property offerings. He collaborates with stakeholders and key members of development teams, architects and engineers, managing agents, sales teams and other attorneys to move projects forward from conception through approval and ultimately to closings, addressing the numerous issues that can arise over the life of a development.
Phil joins Herrick from the New York office of Kramer Levin Naftalis and Frankel LLP.
