Three rising stars at commercial law firm Kuits have made it onto the shortlist for the esteemed Made in Manchester Awards 2019.
Corporate team senior associate Helen Mather, commercial property associate Emma Nimmo and commercial solicitor Rebecca Bainbridge have all been shortlisted for the Lawyer of the Year award.
Kuits fought off tough competition, with pro-manchester receiving a record number of entries this year. This is the third year in a row that Kuits has had more lawyers shortlisted in the awards than any other firm, demonstrating its exceptional approach to training and development.
The Made in Manchester awards, which celebrate the very best of Manchester’s young business talent, are organised by pro-manchester, the largest business development organisation in Greater Manchester and the North West.
Specifically, the judges looked for characteristics such as excellence in innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, a proactive approach to training and development, and leadership from their shortlisted individuals.
Executive partner Robert Levy said: “As the British Chambers’ Regional Employer of the Year for the North West, we are extremely proactive in supporting and developing our young talent through training, coaching and mentoring, in order that they achieve their greatest potential.
“Helen, Emma and Rebecca thoroughly deserve to be recognised by the wider business community for their special achievements over the past 12 months. We are very proud of them and we wish them the best of luck.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 7th February 2019.
