Mrs. Maria Jose Esteban, partner of Bufete Escura, will participate as a speaker at the upcoming International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference in Sydney, Australia October 8th to 13th, 2017. The title of the presentation will be “Mapping the legal ecosystem: what does the current evolution look like and to where is it leading us?”
Maria José is a contracted doctoral professor at ESADE Law School, and an affiliated researcher at the Harvard law School Center on the Legal Profession.
Esteban’s research interests are focused on strategic quality management and innovation in law firms, as well as on the social, economic and regulatory analysis of the legal profession. She publishes in leading scholarly journals, and is a frequent speaker at professional and academic conferences.
She is a corporate lawyer, partner of Bufete Escura, included in the Best Lawyers list for Spain since 2010, with more than twenty years of international experience. Holds a PhD suma cum laude in Business Administration, and has been recently elected as a member of the Royal European Academy of Doctors.
