January 22, 2007:  Blaney McMurtry LLP partner  Jack Siegel  has been appointed to the Liberal Party National Election Readiness Committee as one of three co-chairs for the Province of Ontario. The Liberal National Campaign Co-Chairs Nancy Girard and Mark Marissen, in consultation with Party Leader Stéphane Dion and Party President Marie Poulin, announced the appointments to the Liberal Party's National Election Readiness Committee. The Committee will consist of Co-Chairs from each of the Provinces and Territories, as well as representatives from each commission of the Liberal Party of Canada, members of the National Liberal Caucus and special advisors in outreach and communications.  The National Election Readiness Committee is charged with preparing and overseeing the next federal election campaign on behalf of the Liberal Party of Canada.
