Kuits rising stars achieve shortlist for Lawyer of the Year at Made in Manchester Awards

Three rising stars at commercial law firm Kuits have made it onto the shortlist for the esteemed Made in Manchester Awards 2017.

Corporate team associate Helen Mather and intellectual property solicitors Yasmin Kalantari and Humna Nadim have all been shortlisted for the Lawyer of the Year Award. Kuits have more lawyers shortlisted than any other firm in the category.

The good news came in as Kuits were still celebrating winning Best Law Firm at the Talk of Manchester Awards.

The Made in Manchester awards, which celebrate the very best of Manchester’s young business talent, are organised by pro-manchester, the largest business development organisation in Greater Manchester and the North West.

Specifically, the judges looked for characteristics such as excellence in innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, training and development, and leadership from their shortlisted individuals.

Kuits fought off tough competition, with pro-manchester receiving more entries this year than ever before.

Executive partner Robert Levy said: “As a firm, we are extremely proactive in supporting and developing our young talent through training, coaching and mentoring, in order that they achieve their greatest potential. It is very well-deserved that Helen, Humna and Yasmin are being recognised by the wider business community for their special achievements over the past 12 months and we wish them all the best of luck.”

The winners will be announced at an awards evening on 2nd February 2017.
