On February 24, 2016 at a charity ceremony, the yearly awards for justice, “Themis – the price of justice” were given out. Attorney-at-law Hristo Koparanov from Popov&Partners (Bulgaria) was among the attorneys honored for their work in 2015 with his nomination for “Young lawyer of the year”.

Hristo Koparanov is partner in Popov&Partners with deep knowledge in the fields of competition, consumer and telecommunications law. Hristo Koparanov leads the “Regulations and competition” team. Previous professional experience of Hristo Koparanov includes positions as an expert in Commission on protection of competition and as a director “Market regulation” in Communications regulation commission. During the time he had worked for the two regulators he has participated in the development of the legal framework in the field of protection of competition and the regulation of communications in the country. Hristo Koparanov was nominated also because of his active involvement in the establishment of e-justice in Bulgaria. Another recognition for his career in 2015 is his nomination fоr a member of the Council of Sofia bar association.
