Benchmark Litigation recognizes top U.S. law firms for ability to handle complex cases
Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP (Nevada, USA) has been named “Firm of the Year” for Nevada by Benchmark Litigation, recognizing the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms for their work over the past 12 months.
Nominees were chosen based on extensive research including interviews with peers and clients, according to Benchmark Litigation, an annual guide focusing exclusively on leading litigation firms and attorneys in the United States. Firm of the Year awards were announced this month.
The guide identifies law firms and their attorneys that have displayed the ability to consistently handle complex, high-stakes cases in multiple jurisdictions, and are consistently recommended within their respective business and legal communities for the quality of their litigation professionals and trial work.
“It’s certainly an honor to have our firm recognized as Nevada Firm of the Year,” said Dan Waite, managing partner of Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie’s Las Vegas office. “We are pleased that the Benchmark researchers received such positive feedback from clients and peers, and appreciate everyone’s contributions in helping the firm achieve this recognition.”
In addition to being named Nevada Firm of the Year for 2016, Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie also was recognized by the editors as a “Highly Recommended” law firm with multiple “Litigation Star” attorneys in the annual 2016 Benchmark Litigation guide released last fall.
Howard Cole, Von Heinz, Dan Polsenberg and Dan Waite are Nevada litigation star attorneys from Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie, according to the publication.
Firmwide, a total of 20 Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie litigators in Nevada, Arizona and Colorado were singled out in the 2016 Benchmark Litigation guide, which stated the firm “is confirmed by peers as ‘definitely a big name in these parts and now more than ever a firm to be reckoned with for litigation.’ ”
“Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie is committed to delivering outstanding results for our clients, as demonstrated by this recognition,” said Litigation Practice Group Leader Mike Plachy. “Clients benefit from our diversified talent, complementary skill sets and geographic reach for high-quality and effective legal support.”
