Kochhar & Co. (India) was conferred the Award for the World’s Greatest Brands 2015 in Asia & GCC in the category of Legal Services during the recently concluded Indo-UAE Business Summit.
At this high profile event in Dubai, the firm’s Chairman & Managing Partner Rohit Kochhar was acknowledged as the World’s Greatest Leaders 2015 in Asia & GCC for his pioneering initiatives and contributions in the field of law and legal entrepreneurship.
It was a matter of great pride for the firm as he was the first and only practicing lawyer in India to have been conferred this Award since its inception.
The event was held to commemorate the 44th UAE National Day and to celebrate the success of the long standing India-UAE strategic partnership.
The Awards were presented by His Excellency Shri T. P. Seetharaman, the Ambassador of India to the UAE.
The process reviewers for the Awards was PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
In addition to receiving an award, Kochhar was also invited to deliver the keynote address on the ‘Indo-UAE bilateral relationship and contribution of the Indian diaspora to the growth of UAE’.
