Daniel Walker (33), Senior Associate and English Solicitor in the Commercial Department at Voisin law, has been awarded the Law Society of Jersey prize for obtaining joint top marks in the Company Law paper in the 2015 Jersey Law examinations.
A Law Society of Jersey trophy will be presented to Mr. Walker at an awards ceremony in January 2016. He passed all four examinations taken in June 2015 and will be taking a further three exams in June 2016 in order to qualify as a Jersey advocate.
At Voisin, Mr Walker advises on all aspects of Jersey corporate, security and banking law and has particular expertise in acting for real estate developers in relation to real estate finance, restructurings and property acquisition. He has worked on a number of significant projects including advising an international oil company on a 9 Billion Dollar distribution as part of a group restructuring.
Daniel Walker is married and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and is an enthusiastic Jersey rugby supporter.
