Williams Mullen Adds Patent Attorney David Kulik to Growing Intellectual Property Practice
David Kulik has joined Williams Mullen’s (North Carolina & Virginia, USA) Intellectual Property practice. He will be working out of the Tysons Corner office. David brings more than 20 years of experience representing domestic and international clients in a variety of industries. David’s experience further enhances the capabilities of the firm's intellectual property practice not only in Tysons Corner but also throughout their geographic footprint. He has represented clients in District Court litigation and throughout the full scope of patent and trademark procurement activities, including patent and trademark appeals and patent interferences and post grant proceedings. He has also represented clients in cases before the International Trade Commission and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. David has particular experience in counseling clients in worldwide patent procurement and maintenance strategies. His practice includes patent, trademark and copyright counseling in industries and markets where regulatory issues and government agencies play an important role, such as those where regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Food and Drug Administration; the Department of State; the Federal Aviation Administration; or the Environmental Protection Agency affect the client’s market or product.
David is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the California Bar. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and completed a Graduate Research Fellowship in molecular biology and biophysics at Northwestern University. He received his Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School.
