Gemalto, the Dutch worldwide leader in the protection and management of digital identities, has just been awarded an international bid called by the Uruguayan Government earlier this year.
Gemalto was represented by a legal team of Bergstein Abogados (Uruguay), composed by associates Mariana Pisón and Vanessa Corvini and coordinated by partners Domingo Pereira and Jonás Bergstein.
The international bid has been called with the purpose of implementing an “identity card” in electronic format. The process was looked as strategically by the Uruguayan Administration, which widely publicized the awarded.
Gemalto is the world leader in protecting, verifying and managing digital identities and interactions. Gemalto focus his work in personal mobile services, payment security, authenticated cloud access, identity and privacy protection, electronic Government documents, machine-to-machine applications and many other services.
